BEGGARS BALL is a Rock N’ Roll band from Los Angeles, California. It consists of Guitarist EDDIE BRNABIC, Drummer JAANUS SALM, Bassist LUCIANO FERREA and Vocalist D.K. REVELLE. 4 talented individuals who play music for one simple reason: they love it. The band plays straight from the gut producing a unique sound that has been described as “melodically delving into the future of sound while holding fast and respecting rocks past noise.” The band was formed in 2005 by guitarist Eddie Brnabic. While in search of compatible musicians for the band, Eddie had recorded a handful of demo tracks with drummer/friend Jaanus Salm in late 2004. Soon after, Eddie received a response from a classified ad from singer Dustin Revelle in Febuary ’05 about the possibility of working together. After reviewing some of Dustin’s previous work Eddie decided to have him down to jam.  The chemistry was apparent immediately when their first encounter had resulted in 3 finished songs, which was unheard of judging from the band’s previous vocalist auditions. Now with singer Dustin Revelle & (then) bassist David Huet in place, the band was in need of a steady drummer. The first choice was Jaanus Salm, a friend of Eddie’s and well respected “session” drummer. Although Jaanus had been involved in a number of projects around that time Eddie approached him about joining the band on a full-time basis. After realizing the band’s potential, Jaanus accepted and the band began writing and recording songs together at their Hollywood rehearsal space. Soon after, they would begin to make a name for themselves around the local L.A. music scene playing live shows at a variety of well known clubs. The material from those first sessions resulted in the band’s first self-released CD “Fight This Town”, which was recorded, mixed & mastered entirely by guitarist Eddie Brnabic on a “cheap little 8-track recorder” he’d had for years. Soon after the release of “FTT” differences arose between David & the band ultimately leading to his departure. A number of talented “fill in” bassists were called upon while in search for the band’s fourth member to arrive, allowing the band to continue a steady string of live performances in and around Southern California in 2006 & 2007. During this time the band had continued to write & record new material steadily. Bassist Luciano Ferrea was then recruited just before the summer of ‘07 to complete the band’s line up and solidify its new chemistry. The band is now set to release its second CD entitled “1321” which will carry on where the “FTT” recordings left off, featuring all of the band’s demo tracks recorded since. The band’s musicianship, songwriting and acclaimed live shows over the past 2 years have built them a strong reputation in the Los Angeles area and they are now set to do the same around the world.
